My name, brought from Britain, the best, yet boring and barely spelled correct, Brittany. There isn't much of a backstory, it is just my name. I have never met another with my name, well at least spelled my way.
MY name is mine. Happening before I was born, there was going to be another Brittany, I didn't know it then, but I would not have been okay with that. There being another Brittany, in the same family? No ! That would be like having two totally different objects, such as a pen and a leaf, being called the same exact thing. Nobody would ever know what somebody was trying to talk about if this was the case.
My name. A whole 8 letters to write multiple times a day, is a lot. For being a longer name, like that one hallway that you just hate walking down, there is a shortcut. I have had many nicknames in my life. Brit, Breh, Bre, Brit Britt, and Queen B. I personally don't know why people call me Bre, as for it has no association with my name. It sounds that it should go with a Breanna, not a Brittany. Also, Breh. I have no idea how or even why this is a nickname for me, as for it is as weird as some people, but it is what I am called.
My name, brought from Britain, is Brittany.
I find how many nicknames you have interesting, as I only have two that only specific people use.
ReplyDeleteI love your name and I enjoyed your poem.
ReplyDeleteBrittany,
ReplyDeleteGreat job! I wonder where Breh came from? Who has actually called you that? What is your favorite nickname?
I like where you told us where your name is from I get it .. Brit and Brit you know because BRITain and BRITtany
ReplyDeleteI like the way you use the simile for talking about your long name and the one hallway you hate walking down.
ReplyDeleteI liked how you compared having two people in the family named Brittany to calling a pen and a leaf the same thing; it highlights just how vastly different you would be, and how it doesn't really make much sense.
ReplyDeleteI like how you repeated the first sentence and put I pt at the end also.
ReplyDeleteBruh Brittany this poem is beautiful because it brings out the bitter side of you and how much you like your name.
ReplyDeleteI would understand how you would dislike people calling you something your not.
ReplyDeleteI loved the accidental alliteratiom
